The best application pack is complete enough to explain the proposed scope without burying the reviewer in unrelated records. Organize information around products, inputs, sites and process. Use consistent identifiers so the same item can be followed across documents.

Create a scope register

List each finished product, product code, brand where relevant and manufacturing location. Indicate product category and any known dairy or pareve expectation. Keep development items separate from products ready for commercial review.

Build an ingredient register

For every material, include the supplier, exact product name, code and manufacturing site if known. Attach current kosher certificates where requested and map materials to the products that use them. Identify alternate suppliers explicitly rather than combining them under one generic row.

  • Finished-product list
  • Formula or ingredient matrix
  • Supplier and raw-material register
  • Process flow and equipment overview
  • Existing certification documents

Use readable process information

A one-page flow diagram can be more useful than a long procedure when it shows storage, mixing, heating, transfer, rework and packaging. Add operating details that influence shared equipment, such as temperatures and clean-in-place connections.

Review before submission

Check that names and codes match, certificates are current and every proposed site is identified. Remove passwords and irrelevant personal information. If confidential formulas must be sent through a particular channel, ask before emailing them.
